8th Grade Knights & Parents,
Wednesday 1/13/21 is the big day! 8th grade Virtual Invasion is taking place across PfISD. Below is everything you need to know for the event (information will also be shared by us, with your child).
Here is what you need to know:
- Where/What time is the event: All students will participate from during their regularly scheduled classes tomorrow. All students will begin the experience at 8:30AM.
- What does my child need to do: Students will be provided a link to the information to access the experience via their KLMS Google classroom called "Class of 2025". The links will go live throughout the day in a section called 8th Grade Invasion.
- What will my child be doing: This year, 8th grade invasion is virtual and includes presentation videos from each of the high schools and their elective courses. Additionally, students will hear from high school counselors about 4-year graduation plans, course selection, and how to prepare for the transition to high school.
- What can I do as a parent to learn more: There is a parent information session in the evening starting at 6:00pm via Zoom (link to be posted on the KLMS website and emailed on January 13). Additionally, the portal containing all of the course videos is open to students and parents all day tomorrow from 8:00am -11:59pm. You are able to visit at your convenience.
