Knights,
Last week we had the fortune to be able to recognize students and staff for a job well done during the first nine weeks of school! In a non-COVID year we would have been able to recognize students and staff at a pep rally. This year, we were able to personally present some awards (either from the admin team or from the teacher); students that are not on campus will have their certificates mailed home. We recognized the following awards:
Teacher Awards
- Student Choice - one teacher per grade is selected by the students by majority vote.
- Shield Award - two teacher per grade are selected by the adminsitration team (principals and counselors) for going above a beyond to help the campus as a whole.
Student Awards
- Knight Pride - each teacher selects one student with a strong academic performance and model classroom behavior.
- KORT (Knights of the Round Table) - each grade-level team (AP, counselor, and teachers) select six students who have strong academic performance across all classes, model classroom behavior in all classes, and model behavior in non-class activities (extra-curricular and/or general school grounds/online).
- Armor Award (previously awarded) - each teacher selects one student from each of their classes who has demonstrated a committment to building their learning tool set, and as a result, strengthening their armor for future learning challenges.
