The method of instruction (MOI) for your student is either:- On-campus (meaning they physically come to campus for instruction), or
- Virtual (meaning they are physically at home for instruction).
Regardless of what you selected in the summer, your method of instruction in Skyward was changed to reflect your student's current method of instruction.
If you want to CHANGE their current method of instruction for the 2nd nine weeks, please complete this form no later than September 30th by 5pm. You will receive an email as proof of your submission, please keep this email until the nine weeks starts.
If you change your mind after you complete the form, but before September 30th, please submit a new form and we will use the most recent submission as your selection. Requests after September 30th are not guaranteed to be accepted.
If you have more than one student at Kelly Lane Middle School, please complete this form for each student at Kelly Lane.
What to Expect for the 2NW
- There is not a capacity limit, so if you request for your student to come to campus they will be able to come to campus for instruction. There is no weighted point system.
- We will have additional schedule changes to accommodate students coming to campus.
- Depending on the number of students on campus, students may eat lunch in the classroom or we will shift the bell schedule to accommodate more lunches. We will not know our path forward until October 1, after we have all of the requests for 2NW.
- If your student is in athletics (in-season or off-season), they will be expected to come to campus for class regardless of their MOI. Students should come dressed for practice; virtual learners will not be issued lockers.
