I definitely have different emotions this end of year then most, as I am sure everyone does. Here are a few things as we close the year.
Summer Send-Off Parade
To officially close the school year, we are having a send-off parade on May 28th from 1:30-2:00. Click here for more information. We are hoping to see everyone possible so that we can have proper closure to the year and celebrate the time we had together. Teachers will be practicing physical distancing and wearing masks, but that won't stop us from cheering on the kids and saying good-bye for the summer. Had we been in the building, this is about the time we would have been waving good-bye to them.

If you are interested in accessing e-books and digital audiobooks throughout the summer, there are several ways to access materials. Choose one of the options below and follow the intsructions.
1. Download the app called "Destiny Read", you may already have the Follett Brytewave app (it should update to Destiny Read).
*Sign in with S# and password
*Scroll to ebooks and digital audiobooks
4. Open the PfISD library for additional options.
*Click on the link above
*Select level of desired books (elementary, middle, high)
*Select a collection (click on logo)- examples: Abdo Digital, Audible, Big Timber, Junior Guild
Students who are enrolled in Pre-AP English Langauge Arts should read at least one book from the approved list over the summer. A summer reading project will be assigned at the beginning of the school yer.
