Send-Off Parade Reminder

Knights,

Just a friendly that the send-off parade is today at 1:30-2:00.  Hopefully, you will be able to join us at KLMS to say good-bye and celebrate the year.  The weather should be fine, but we will have the parade rain or shine.  If there is thunder/lightening the parade will be cancelled.

If you are joining us, please start by going to the back parking lot (Grand Mission/Falcon Pointe intersection).  You will drive along the back of the school, turn right at the end of the building, turn right again to drive along the front of the building, and then exit the front parking lot (Barley Field/Falcon Pointe intersection).  In order to maintain the safety expectations, teachers will be in masks and maintaining a distance of 6 feet from students and other staff members.  If you have items to give a staff member, please park and we can gather those items at the end of the parade to deliver.

We have two awards given only at the end of the year that will be acknowledged today.  The Sword in the Stone and the Knight of the Year are awarded to one boy and one girl from each grade.  During the parade, if those students are able to join us, we will give those students their certificates and some balloons.  We are mailing the 4th nine weeks Knight Pride awards; each teacher selects one boy and one girl for each course that they teach to acknowledge for their hard-work and dedication to school.

Thank you for being a positive part of this memorable year.  Our partnership with parents and the community is essential now more than ever, and we appreciate the dedication and attention that you gave to hellping us educate the students.

Thank you,
Dina Schaefer, KLMS Principal
