DANCE
The 8th grade semi-formal is sponsored by Student Council. The students voted and this year's theme is "The Great Gatsby". Tickets are $10 and included a catered meal from Johnny Carino's and dessert. The dance is Friday, May 1st; it starts at 6:00 PM and ends at 9:00 PM.
Students who are walking must show proof their parent is agreeable to them walking home (a call after the dance from the student's cell phone is acceptable).
We would like to have a photo of the 8th grade
students at a younger age – our journalism teacher is creating a slide show for
the students to enjoy during dinner – photos can be dropped off at the front
office or sent by email to Maisey.Edwards@pfisd.net (please write students name on back).
There will be a photo booth for students to enjoy – cost for
photos will be $2.00
Parent volunteers are needed – 8 - 10 volunteers needed to
assist serving dinner (6:30-7:30), 4 volunteers needed to serve drinks
throughout the evening, 6 volunteers needed to assist with photo booth (1 hour
shift per 2), 4 parents to assist with security (watching front doors, etc…). If you are interested, you can sign up here.
