November Updates

Happy Voting Day!  If you need more information about the Tax Ratification Election before heading to the polls - visit the PfISD website (click here).


7th or 8th grade students?  Please visit the information about Big Decisions.  There are parent meetings November 15th and 16th so don’t delay.  Parents have to opt-in this year, so please review the information by clicking here. 


A favor…  If you are dropping off/ waiting to pick up your student, please do not use the spaces designated for handicapped parking.  We have received feedback that the spaces have not been available for visitors/staff on several occasions who need to park. 


Thank you for your support of KLMS...  

  • Our inaugural events of Meet the Teacher and Haunted Hallways were a great success!  We appreciate your attendance and support.

  • A few wonderful parent volunteers helped to finish the fence in the field with more designs of the great offerings at KLMS. Thank you for adding that flair to our campus.


Upcoming Events

  • Fall Parent Information Night for Dyslexia, Tuesday, November 2 @ 6:00pm.  (Admin Building)

  • 7/8 Percussion Solo and Ensemble performance on Thursday, November 4.

  • PTO Meeting: Monday, November 8 @ 6:30. 

  • Basketball season starts the week of November 15th.  *CHANGE*

    • November 10th and 11th are scrimmages without spectators.

    • Tickets must be purchased online.  We recommend purchasing them ahead of time with a screen shot or printed copy of the ticket; this will save time if you have Wi-Fi or connection issues.  Link for tickets.

    • If your student is coming to the game without a parent, please make arrangements to have them picked up within 15 minutes of the end of the game.  There is a phone available for student use in the front office if needed (see admin on duty).

    • *NEW* No backpacks at games.

  • Picture Retakes - Friday, November 12.  These will be taken on the stage during lunches.

  • One Act Play competition on Saturday, November 13.

  • CAAC Meeting: Wednesday, November 17

  • 8th grade spirit week: November 15-19

  • Thanksgiving Break: November 22-26
