Each year the new year bring excitement and anticipation, and this year is no different. The teachers return on Thursday, our new teachers start tomorrow with us. As we continue to iron out the details of "how", there are some pieces of information I want to share with you.
- Schedules are not final. In our attempt to get the classrooms loaded and ready for teachers to prepare, some students may be able to see classes (either in Skyward or Google Classroom). There are still changes being made, so please know that any schedule you see right now is not necessarily the final schedule for your student.
- Laptops will be distributed Aug. 10 - 12. We are getting the final details about distributing laptops to students, and an exact distribution schedule has not been established. We will communicate this ASAP. Students will receive an agenda along with their Chromebook. All students will be issued a Chromebook regardless of whether they are intending to return to the building or stay virtual.
- The district has published a website that has a lot of great information. Please visit the Return to Learn site to learn more about the services and schedules.
- When we return to the building, we will not be using lockers. To compensate, students will be allowed to carry a backpack with them during the day.
- Registration. If you have not completed the "Registration Selection" in Skyward, please take a moment to do so. Once we know who and how many students are returning, we can begin to solidify plans about how things will work once we are in the building. At this time, there are several unknowns that make specific processes impossible to determine.
