I hope you are enjoying the summer break!
For those of you that like to plan ahead, here are some summer date to be aware of...
- August 5-8 is summer band camp... make sure to check the Band website for details and extra information. There is information about other band camps throughout the summer.
- August 6 is the 6th grade camp and registration checks for 6th grade students. Camp is from 8:30-11:30 and does require registration. Students can register on the day of camp if needed, but pre-registration helps the PTO ensure they have enough supplies and snacks. The registration form is available on our website by clicking here.
- August 6 is also course verification pick up for 7th and 8th grade students from 4:30-7:30 pm. Please note that 7th grade students must have proof of updated immunizations prior to picking up their course list. We ask that all parents/students complete the yearly registration papers on that evening. This is a great opportunity to ensure that all paperwork is on order and the courses are correct so your student is ready for a smooth start to the school year.
- August 7-8 from 5:30-7:00 pm is equipment pick up for students planning to play football; August 7th is for 8th grade students and August 8th is for 7th grade students. Students can turn in their updated physical forms at that time.
- August 12 is our annual Welcome Walk for 6th grade students. We will start at 5:30 and a staff member will visit the house of our incoming 6th grade students to welcome them to the Knight family.
- August 15 is the first day of school. Students are welcome to enter the building starting at 7:45 and classes start at 8:20 am.
- August 22 is Open House, starting at 6:00 pm.

ATHLETICS - please read if you have a student participating in athletics (any sport).
If you have a 7th or 8th grade student participating in Athletics, you must have an updated physical (dated after April 15, 2019) on file before your student can practice; physical & medical history forms are not submitted online. You must complete the forms on Rank One as well as submit the physical. There are links to the forms so you can read them, but you do not fill out the individual forms online, you will check that you have read and understand the forms.
