Ending the Year

Knights,

First and foremost, thank you for a wonderful year to date.  The KLMS Knights have experienced tremendous successes in academics, athletics, and fine arts with more accolades to come!

I want to introduce a new face on campus, Randy Reese.  Mr. Reese has been part of the Pflugerville community for many years and has served the district in a variety of roles.  His latest role at KLMS is to fill in for Ms. Marquez, 6th grade assistant principal.  Ms. Marquez will join us for the end of the year, but until her return Mr. Reese is here to help!  The easiest way to reach him is to call the front office at 594-2800 or by email at Randy.Reese@pfisd.net.

This week, I had the pleasure of attending the district's award ceremony for teacher service and special recognition.  Among those honored this year were:
10 years of service: Bill Harris and Courtney McVan
15 years: Laura Greer, Curtis Seiferman, and Joyce Tiner
25 years: Angel Martin
30 years: Rose Marques

Teacher of the Year: Lisa Kusano
Humanitarian of the Year: Willow Clark
PfISD Rookie Teacher of the Year: Danielle Gerard

Also, recognized on campus is KLMS Staff Member of the Year Oralia Gonzalez.
Congratulations to all of these individuals for their continued service and dedication to the students and community of KLMS.
