Knights,
I hope you have had a great week back at school. It seems the kids grew so much over the
break.
Fortunately, it appears that weather will not be affecting
school operations but please be safe throughout your weekend plans. In the future, any school changes due to
weather will be communicated through local news media, a call from the district
if your number is on file, emails from any district subscriptions (district or
school specific messages), the district and KLMS website, and the phone message
for KLMS will be updated with the pertinent information.
We have a new vestibule at the front of the school courtesy
of the bond election. The doors are now
electronically operated; specific doors can be unlocked and locked
remotely. As such, the second door from
the left is now electronically unlocked at 7:15 in the morning and locked at
4:15 in the afternoon. The two most
right doors will no longer be unlocked during the day. All visitors and employees entering the building
must report to the main office. Students
should be prepared to leave campus at dismissal unless they have prior arrangements
to be with a teacher.
